Hotel Palisad was built in 1965. As a long-standing leader in recorded number of overnight stays, it represents the leading hotel of continental tourism and recognizable symbol of Zlatibor.

Hotel Palisad has significantly contributed to the development of tourism on Zlatibor. Nowadays, the hotel continues to follow the path of leadership as confirmed by three "Silver snowflake" awards and award granted by Serbian Chamber of commerce and other awards.
